Nova was up and at the door in a shot, because this wasn't unlike Skywarp if she was going to play a joke on Nova, but Warp wasn't there.

Through long force of habit, her optics immediately swept down when she didn't see any other bot of her own height standing on the other side. She then cycled her optics when she recognized who was there, then laughed in Bass' face.
